Design Studio Director – Schiefer Chopshop

January 2022 – June 2025

Responsibilities: Led the agency’s Design Studio, managing a cross-functional team of designers to deliver brand-defining campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and traditional platforms. Oversaw the creative development process, ensuring visual consistency and alignment with brand standards. Collaborated closely with strategy, media, and account teams to develop integrated campaigns that strengthened client brands and delivered measurable results.

Achievements: Led multidisciplinary teams in creating high-impact work for a wide range of nationally recognized brands—including Aaron’s, Mothers Polishes and Waxes, Well Labs+, Irvine Company, Weiser, and Good ’n’ Fun—with a focus on craft, clarity, and performance. Several of these efforts earned national recognition, including multiple Webby Awards for digital innovation and design excellence.

Senior Art Director – Schiefer Chopshop

May 2016 – April 2022

Responsibilities: Concepted and executed creative for major national clients across CPG, automotive, and lifestyle categories. Led visual direction for brand refreshes, campaign launches, and cross-channel marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive and impactful storytelling. Mentored junior designers and contributed to fostering a collaborative, craft-driven studio culture.

Achievements: Delivered high-impact creative for brands including Prestone, TCL, West Coast University, Sylvania Automotive, Baldwin Hardware, Belkin, Brembo, Decked, Discovery and Discovery+, Edelbrock, Kwikset, Pfister, John Wayne Airport, NHRA, Visit Laguna Beach, and Mothers Polishes and Waxes. The work spanned brand development, campaign design, and immersive digital experiences—most notably the UX/UI design of the first 260° VR experience integrated with 360° content within an interactive website. This project earned multiple national awards, including Webbys, and received national PR recognition.

Associate Creative Director – Direct Partners

September 2012 – July 2016

Responsibilities: Led creative development for multi-channel campaigns—including CRM, web, and social—with a strong focus on performance marketing and conversion optimization. Collaborated with strategy and analytics teams to ensure creative was informed by data-driven insights. Clients included AAA, Sony PlayStation Network, Toyota, and International Delight.

Achievements: Directed eCRM initiatives that drove $155M in annual revenue for Sony, with open rates up to 87% and low unsubscribe rates. Designed campaigns that helped WWE surpass 1M subscribers and improved UX for Silk.com, increasing sign-ups by 53%. Email strategies across clients delivered a $10 ROI and grew databases by 59%—the highest-performing channel across media.
